Mean Well introduces the new SCW20 series DC/DC converters with a single output as an addition to the existing SCW03/SCWN03 (3W), SCW05 (5W), SCW08 (8W), and SCW12 (12W) series. This series expands the output power of the SCW family to up to 20 watts. The entire SCW family is designed according to the DIP24 package standard with the same pin assignments. In situations where the end system requires higher power, the SCW20 can directly replace the lower power SCW models without the need to redesign the PCB layout.

The Mean Well SCW20 series offers the highest power density of all DIP24 DC/DC converters currently available on the market. Additionally, Mean Well is the only manufacturer with a 20W option in the DIP24 package. With features such as a wide input range of 2:1, a very large operating temperature range (-40°C to +80°C), and 1500V DC I/O isolation, the SCW20 is well-suited for distributed power applications.
