Future updates to EEBus and direct connection to a smart meter gateway have also been considered. Additionally, included and pre-programmed RFID chips allow for restricted access to the wallbox. Alternatively, the AMTRON® Charge Control can also be started without authorization. Settings on the wallbox are easily made via a web interface. This allows for regulation of charging processes, export of statistics, customization of solar charging functions, and management of various users. Company car drivers can document their home charging sessions in just a few steps and settle them with their employer. The consumption can also be read externally from the device through the meter window.
