Type 2 surge arrester for photovoltaic systems. Fault-resistant Y-circuit for use according to VDE 0100-712 (IEC 60364-7-712). Surge protection equipotential bonding according to VDE 0100-443 (IEC 60364-4-44). Discharge capacity up to 40 kA (8/20) per pole and low DC protection level: less than 4.0 kV (Uoc max = 1000V DC). Arrester pluggable with thermo-dynamic disconnect device and visual function indicator. Encapsulated zinc oxide varistor arrester for use in distribution boxes. Application: PV systems without or with separate isolated lightning protection system.
