With the Gravure Sport series, Opinel offers a selection of models featuring designs from the world of sports. The Velo model captures an impression of cyclists ascending in the mountains. It is based on a size 8 knife with a blade made of stainless, modified Sandvik steel 12C27. The handle is made of the beech wood commonly used by Opinel, on which the design is laser-engraved. Naturally, the blade is secured in both the open and closed positions using the Virobloc system.
