The Opinel №8 outdoor knife offers versatile use. The 2.5 mm thick blade is made of modified, stainless Sandvik steel 12C27. The 3.5 cm wide partial saw serration allows easy cutting of natural and synthetic ropes. Sailors will be pleased with the shackle opener integrated into the blade. The Virobloc system locks the blade securely in the open and closed position. The high-quality handle in the typical Opinel design is made of a polyamide/fiberglass material that lies well and firmly in the hand even with wet hands. A signal whistle integrated into the handle and a plastic cord round off the extensive features.
