With a working length of 83 cm and a lifting volume of 2.3 liters, it is ideal for working efficiently in an avalanche situation. At the same time, high-quality materials, well-constructed sidewalls, and a pronounced center ridge ensure reliable stability and strength. The shovel also features a stable, sharp edge for strong performance. The shovel blade is pack-friendly and comes with non-slip foot grooves.

Additional practical details include a telescoping shaft and a quick-release mechanism, making it easy to stow the BEAST avalanche shovel in your ORTOVOX ski touring backpack. Last but not least, the BEAST stands out with additional features, including a T-handle that can be adjusted for left or right-handed use.
