The flow meter from PCE Instruments is a high-precision measuring device designed for capturing flow rates in piping systems. With a measurement range of ±32 m/s and an accuracy of ±1.5% of the measured value for a pipe diameter of DN ≥50, this device provides reliable results for various applications. The integrated data logger function allows for the recording of measurement values over a period of 1 second to 12 hours, with up to 10 million measurement points stored on the 32 GB memory. The collected data can be analyzed in both tabular and graphical formats and exported in .csv format or generated as a PDF report. For user-friendly operation, the flow meter can be configured via the accompanying software, which also offers a live view of the measurement values. To determine the amount of heat, thermocouples can be connected, enabling precise calculation of costs per unit of heat during measurement.
