The tensile or compressive force is often required in testing laboratories to determine yield limits or breaking forces. The dynamometer is supplied with an external measuring cell. The measuring cell is connected to the dynamometer via a sensor cable approximately 6 meters long. The dynamometer or the force measuring cell features an M20 threaded connection to apply the tensile or compressive forces. The dynamometer can operate with a sampling rate of up to 1600 Hz. The sampled measurement values are displayed as instantaneous values as well as in a graphical measurement curve directly on the dynamometer. Measurements can be stored in the internal memory or transmitted as live measurements via USB interface with the included software at a maximum of 800 Hz. The dynamometer has a graphic LCD that displays the measurement values both numerically and graphically. Additionally, the dynamometer is protected according to IP54, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. The dynamometer allows for the setting of two limit values that are continuously compared with the instantaneous value. When these limit values are exceeded or not reached, a signal is triggered on the dynamometer's display, and a response is activated through external interfaces, which can be used, for example, to control a testing machine.
