Better known as the peace lily, these delicate plants are renowned for their ability to remove pollutants from the air. In spring and early summer, elegant white spathes emerge on slender stems above the foliage. With its white flowers, Spathiphyllum stands out distinctly from other green houseplants. Care
The Spathiphyllum requires more frequent watering than other houseplants. Therefore, it is recommended to water the plant twice a week in summer and once a week in winter. Signs of water deficiency include the leaves of the Spathiphyllum beginning to droop. Additionally, the plant should not be placed in direct sunlight; it prefers a shadier location. Another important aspect is to remove the dead flowers as soon as they have bloomed, allowing the plant to direct its energy towards producing new leaves and flowers.
