The brand wood stain from plid is manufactured in Germany. The wood stain is an aqueous thin-layer stain that is perfect for painting wooden ceilings, garden fences, roof shelters and pergolas both indoors and outdoors and offers a high level of protection against the effects of weathering. The properties of the wood stain are ideal for achieving long-lasting results and can be optimally applied with the prinzwork wood stain brush set, for example. This set is the right choice if you want to save money.

Areas of application:
Suitable for all types of wood (e.g. panelling, wooden ceilings and doors - can also be used on the outside of doors).

Processing tips:
Please note: "Colourless" alone does not provide UV protection and should only be used to mix and lighten dark glaze colours. The substrate must be clean, dry, grease-free and stable. Sand down old glaze coats and weathered, grey wood well (wear a dust mask). Remove all varnish coatings. The wood moisture content should not exceed 15% Do not apply at temperatures below +8°C and in extreme heat (sunlight). When using several containers, ensure that the batches are identical. Stir well before use and apply a thin, even coat in the direction of the wood fibres.

• Prepare the substrate accordingly
• Pre-treat untreated exterior wood with wood protection primer as blue stain protection.
• Apply 2 - 3 undiluted coats of this product, whereby only one coat should be applied per day.

Coverage:
Approx. 11 - 13 m²/ltr. with one coat, depending on the condition / absorbency of the substrate

Ready to use, dilute with water if necessary

Cleaning the tools:
Immediately after use with soap and water

Drying time: (at +20°C, 65% relative humidity)
Dust-dry: after approx. 2 - 3 hours
Recoatable: after approx. 6 - 8 hours
Completely dry: after approx. 24 hours
Lower temperatures and higher humidity extend the drying time.
