Optimum cutting speeds depend on the diameter of the respective milling cutter and the material to be processed. The larger the milling cutter, the lower the speed must be. The following applies to the material to be machined: soft material high speed, hard material low speed. The exception is plastic. For clean and powerful clamping of the milling cutters we recommend the use of Micromot steel collets.
