The Bosch EasyPump battery is permanently installed and cannot be easily replaced. The housing is held together by plastic clips and there are no screws that would allow access to the battery. However, Bosch offers a battery replacement service that can be used outside of the warranty.

Yes, the battery is actually permanently installed. And as far as I have seen, there are no screws. So the housing is held together with plastic clips.
But Bosch offers a battery replacement service. Unfortunately I can't say what the costs are here. But I would bet that outside of the warranty, a new purchase makes more sense than a repair.
