Solar input does not work if mains adapter is also connected. If the state of charge is almost 100%, charging will also stop, try with a load to see if charging then takes place (connect a hoover), then the solar charging current should be slowly increased automatically.

I also have the 1000 indoors and have no concerns. Outside, in summer and winter, you will exceed or fall below the temperature range of the device, I would have more respect for that. As an idea if you still want to go outside with it: A styro box (Landi for fruit) with holes, that would equalise the temperature somewhat, although if it is 3 days below zero, it is also below zero there. Another alternative is an aluminium box like those used by campers (often on the roof), they don't cost the earth and are waterproof (but you have to provide ventilation!). In the aluminium box, it would also be "more safely enclosed" inside, but here, too, make sure it is ventilated.

Hello The MPPT module is already built into the new 'X' models. If you want to keep the solar panels simple, I would advise you to buy Goal Zero ones. Goal Zero has their own plugs, one for up to 120w and a more powerful one. But if you want a solar panel with a lot of power, you have to go to other suppliers. On the subject of adapters, I can't put that into a comment. I would advise you to look it up on Google. Hope this could help you

The Yeti 1000X model has not been around long. Someone would have had to empty and recharge the battery every day to notice a decrease. I expect the decline to come gradually over the next few years, so slowly that it is not noticeable. What is noticeable, however: When not in use, the stored energy decreases rapidly. You have to recharge every few months.

The product is new and has only been available since mid-June. The price displayed in our price history tool is therefore incorrect. The price history display on our shop is new and unfortunately still often shows incorrect prices for new products. The product has never been available cheaper from us before and we offer a very attractive price in our daily offer. I would like to apologise for the incorrect display.

Because the product has a solar input DC 8mm. The manufacturer gives this info as follows: The Yeti 1000 Lithium can be combined with a variety of solar modules to adapt the self-sufficient power supply to your individual needs. The manufacturer remains true to its modular concept and thus guarantees you maximum flexibility with the highest reliability of the equipment. For even more efficient solar operation of the Yeti 1000, the manufacturer offers an optional MPPT charge controller module. The MPPT module is already included in the scope of delivery for the Yeti 1000 Lithium that we offer. The Yeti MPPT module for a better solar yield is already included in this package.
