The Meater 2 Plus cannot be connected directly to the WLAN. It uses Bluetooth 5.2 to connect to a smartphone or tablet. The Wi-Fi function is realised via the so-called MEATER Link function, in which an additional smartphone or tablet serves as a Bluetooth-to-Wi-Fi bridge to extend the range and enable temperature monitoring via the Wi-Fi network. Alternatively, the MEATER Block with integrated WLAN can be used to enable a direct WLAN connection. An intermediate device is therefore required for the Meater 2 Plus itself in order to utilise WLAN functionality.

The Meater Pro cannot be connected directly to the WLAN. It has a Bluetooth booster, but Wi-Fi is only integrated in models such as the MEATER Block, MEATER Pro Duo and MEATER Pro XL. For a Wi-Fi connection, however, you can use MEATER Link, which functions as a Bluetooth-to-Wi-Fi bridge via an additional smart device to extend the range.

The Meater Pro XL can be connected via Bluetooth, but does not have an integrated WLAN function. WLAN-capable models such as the Meater Block and the Meater Pro Duo, on the other hand, have in-built WLAN and therefore enable a connection via the home network. The Meater Pro XL offers wireless monitoring via app, but the connection is made via Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi.
