Product details
Radio-enabled sensor for controlling home technology through weather data. The radio environmental sensor measures temperature, rainfall, wind strength, sun position, sun height, and light intensity. The measured data is transmitted wirelessly to registered receivers and can be used for automation. For example, southern roller shutters can automatically move to the sun protection position when the sun shines from the south.
In conjunction with other radio actuators, it is also possible to automatically turn lights on and off at specific brightness levels or to automatically retract an awning in the event of wind or rain. The environmental sensor features an integrated DCF radio clock. Configuration and control are ideally done through the intuitive user interface in HomePilot. However, configuration is also possible with the central control unit in conjunction with the WR ConfigTool software. Additionally, the radio environmental sensor has an integrated motor control for a tubular motor, to which a motor can be directly connected.
The supply voltage is 230 V and the transmission frequency is 434.5 MHz. The maximum transmission power is 10 mW. The radio environmental sensor can operate at temperatures from -30 °C to +60 °C and can handle a maximum load of 1,000 W (protected with T 6.3 A fine fuse). The heating (rain sensor) consumes approximately 1.2 W in standby mode. The measurement ranges are as follows: temperature sensor -30 °C to +80 °C, sun sensor 0 to 150,000 Lux, and wind sensor 0 m/s to 35 m/s. The dimensions of the environmental sensor are 96 x 77 x 118 mm (W x H x D).
