Mechanical Snap Trap for Rats

Rats in the house and garden are always unwelcome. They eat supplies, gnaw on wood, and leave messes behind. With the snap trap set, you can effectively combat these rodents. You can avoid chemical baits, as the classic metal rat trap operates purely mechanically. By using bait, you attract the rat, and when it touches the bait, the trap snaps shut.

The trap is best placed near signs of rat activity. Try different baits; effective options include dried fruits, nuts, pet food, or even peanut butter. Secure the bait to the hook on the trap plate. Then, fold the tension bar and let it be held by the side hook. Next, place the retaining pin over the bar and insert it into the hole of the bait plate. The trap is now ready for use.

Note: When setting up, ensure that children and pets do not come into contact with the trap.
