The four-jaw chuck from Röhm is a high-precision clamping device designed for use on conventional lathes. With a diameter of 200 mm and a maximum speed of 4000 RPM, this chuck offers excellent runout accuracy and is ideal for applications that demand high precision. The body of the chuck is made of steel and is drop-forged, which not only extends its lifespan but also reduces weight and mass inertia. The ground flanks of the spiral and the threaded flanks of the jaws ensure uniform force transmission and reliable clamping force. The chuck comes with a set of hardened drilling and turning jaws that are stepped both outward and inward to allow for versatile applications. It is suitable for spindle heads according to DIN 55027 and is mounted directly on the spindle head without an intermediate flange.
