Short description: The Duro-A is a three-jaw chuck with through-hole that can be operated automatically, i.e., hydraulically by a CNC machine. It is primarily used for machining cylindrical and disc-shaped workpieces. Stable clamping force is achieved through axial pull. The workpiece is automatically pulled against the fixed stop by the actuation of the clamping spindle. Vibration damping is provided by a high proportion of vulcanized rubber in the clamping sleeves. Prepared for air system control. Compatible with intermediate flanges type 269-90. Technical features: high flatness and roundness accuracy, high repeat accuracy. Consistently constant clamping force over 500,000 cycles. Wedge hook principle. Fixed main jaw, top jaws mounted via T-nuts. Thread ring is fully prepared. Areas of application: automatically clamping machining machines. Machining of bars, pipes, flanges, and discs. Advantages: high clamping forces (up to 250 kN in the 400 version), high speeds (up to 8,000 RPM in the 165 version), reduced interference contour, large through-hole.
Max. Speed | 8000 rpm |
