This heat shrink tubing has a 2:1 shrink ratio and complies with various standards including IEC 60684-3-216 Type C and DEF Stan. 59-97 Issue 3 Type 8. It features new harmonized colors that conform to IEE standards for phase colors to BS 7671. When used as an oversheath, this product helps ensure that cables meet the latest fire safety standards. It is halogen free and exceeds the requirements of the London Underground and MOD, making it ideal for applications where fire safety is a priority, such as public buildings, public transport, underground passenger transport systems, submarines, hospitals, and airports.

The tubing offers very low flammability with a flame temperature index of over 350 °C, is absolutely halogen-free, and has extremely low smoke emission, meeting standard LUL. It produces no toxic smoke and has a high oxygen index of over 40%. It is suitable for insulation, cable protection, cable marking, and encapsulation on connectors, and is supplied in lengths of 1.2 m.
