These limit switches are part of the RS limit switch series M20 AM F/T. They are easy-to-use electromechanical limit switches that offer special qualities and specially designed detection devices with features such as presence/absence, positioning, end position, passing objects, and counting. The limit switches are made of zinc alloy (Zamack) and all have IP66 protection or plastic enclosure to IP65. They provide visible operation, the possibility to change high currents (10 A conventional thermal current), electrically separated contacts, precise operating points, and are insensitive to electromagnetic interference. There is a choice of actuating heads, including simple plunger, roller plunger, and roller lever. The dimensions are standardized according to EN 50047 and EN 50041. Limit switches with metal housing are rated IP66, while those with plastic housing are double insulated according to IP65.
