These heaters are most commonly used in the plastics industry but are also suitable for applications up to 1000 °F. Oxidation-resistant high-temperature metal shielding. High-quality mica insulation provides excellent electrical insulation at high temperatures and is moisture-resistant. The clamping band is made of low thermal expansion steel to maintain clamping pressure at elevated temperatures. Nickel/chromium resistance wire is evenly wound for uniform heat distribution and reliable accuracy. 10-inch standard fiberglass lead.
