The Ryobi RY18PLA battery-powered lopping shears (www.ryobitools.de, around 300 euros without battery equipment) cut branches in the treetop without effort - the battery-powered cutting drive of the bypass shears on the telescopic head makes it possible. Diameters of up to about 32 millimetres can be cut, and the shear head can be swivelled on both sides for better access to the cutting point...

It is usually the relatively young branches that need to be cut back or trimmed. The Ryobi RY18PLA is an alternative to the more maintenance-intensive high pruners. With its extendable shaft, you can comfortably carry out work at heights of up to 4.5 metres. The cuts are smooth and clean and cause minimal damage to the wood.
