The APD-200 detector is designed to operate as part of the ABAX 2/ABAX two-way wireless system. It is certified according to the requirements of EN 50131 Grade 2.

Effective motion detection is achieved thanks to the dual pyro element, the digital detection algorithm, and dynamic temperature compensation in protected areas. The APD-200 features a state-of-the-art wide-angle lens, which can be replaced with a curtain lens or a long-range lens. Depending on the need, the detector can also protect the crawl zone, thanks to the adjustable mirror used. The APD-200 monitors the motion detection system; in the event of a system malfunction, the device will report an alarm.

The configuration of the APD-200 and the update of its firmware are done remotely. Wireless communication within the ABAX 2 system is secured with AES encryption.

The detector is powered by a CR123A 3V battery, the status of which is monitored in real-time. The device is characterized by low energy consumption, and the "ECO" option (available only in ABAX 2) allows for extending the device's operating time by up to four times without needing to change the battery.

The LED display signals violations in test mode, thus facilitating the testing process of the detector.

The device can be mounted on an adjustable ceiling/wall bracket. The detector is equipped with sabotage protection against opening and removal from the bracket.
