The optical-acoustic Satel signal generator SPL-2010 is designed for use in burglary and robbery alarm systems. The signaling function is realized optically (flashing LED in the lower part of the housing) and acoustically (modulated acoustic signal of high volume). A group of LEDs serves as the light source, and the sound signal is generated by a piezoelectric transducer. The housing design of the signal generator allows for effective sabotage protection (opening the cover, detaching from the base, disabling the transducer with foam).

The electronics of the signal generator are manufactured using surface mount technology (SMD) and are protected with a coating against harmful weather influences, resulting in high reliability. The outer casing of the SPL-2010 is made of high-impact polycarbonate PC LEXAN, which provides very high mechanical strength and ensures that it still looks like new even after many years of use. An additional layer of protection against mechanical damage is provided by the inner cover made of galvanized sheet metal.
