The tubular motor is also equipped with an over-the-air update function and continuously reports its current status thanks to the keep-alive mode. This allows you to check and change the position of the roller shutter in seconds via the app. If you want to control your roller shutters via voice command, you will need a smart home control center and a smart speaker from Amazon Echo or Google Home. Once the control center and the speaker are connected, you can enable the roller shutter motor for voice control and give Alexa or Google the voice command to open or close the roller shutter. Additionally, if the roller shutter becomes blocked, frozen, or overheated, the obstacle detection feature will prevent any issues.
