Difference between AC-7a and AC-7b when selecting an iCT contactor:
These utilization categories determine which loads the contactors can switch:

• AC-7a is intended for lightly inductive loads for household appliances such as mixers and blenders
• AC-7b is intended for motor loads for household appliances such as fans and central vacuum cleaners

Spacers between the iCT series contactors:
When multiple contactors are mounted on a DIN rail, spacers should be used after every second contactor. The reason for this is that when several contactors are placed side by side, there can be a significant heat buildup, causing the devices to exceed their operating temperature. The coils themselves are designed to be on 100% of the time, so heat dissipation is necessary, hence a spacer is required.
