This AS-i module is part of the Modicon X80 series, a range of common I/O for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This master module supports up to 62 digital I/O devices and up to 31 analog I/O devices. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures, reducing costs for spare parts inventory, maintenance, and training. It is equipped with a 3-way SUB-D connector for electrical connection and has an IP20 protection rating. The maximum cable distance between devices is 100 m, 200 m with an extension, 300 m with 2 repeaters, and 500 m with 2 repeaters and the master in the middle. The housing provides IP20 protection for the electronics. It complies with the standards EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2, and EN 61010-2-201. This product is compatible with the Modicon M340 and M580. The product must be mounted in the rack and secured with 2 screws.
