The Spacial SBM industrial boxes from Schneider Electric are available in three versions and are designed for use in industrial machinery and building applications. The wall mounting enclosures feature a one-piece rectangular body with folded gutters on the front and two or three drilled profiles for the installation of mounting plates and DIN rails on the rear. The mounting holes have a diameter of 12.5 mm. The housing cover includes a polyurethane seal and two, three, four, or six threaded screws with half turn, depending on the version. An M6 x 16 ground terminal bolt is welded into the cover to provide a potential terminal for the enclosure.

Properties and advantages include 28 different sizes available, with accessories from the expansion box allowing for up to 42 sizes with depths of 80 mm and 120 mm, with or without pre-installed cable glands. The protection class is IP66, meaning the enclosures are dustproof and offer protection against strong jets of water and heavy seas. They have external mechanical impact resistance of up to IK10 (20 joules), indicating that the wall box can withstand a 5 kg object dropped from a height of 40 cm. The enclosures can be installed with a screwdriver, allowing for direct mounting from the rear or using external mounting eyelets. They are protected inside and outside by grey (RAL 7035) painted polyester, featuring an attractive and robust design to protect sensitive electronics.
