The TeSys U control unit with magnetic protection is designed for installation in the LUB38 base unit and forms a compact motor starter for 3-phase motor applications up to 18.5 kW at 400 V. It provides short-circuit protection for motors with a rated current In of 9.5 to 38 A (In adjustable via a rotary knob) and overload protection at 14.2 x In. The application includes requirements for the basic protection of motor outputs: overload and short circuit. It is suitable for use with a 24 V DC supply for controlling the starter (via the control terminals A1/A2 on the base unit). The control unit is certified for use in conjunction with a LUB power supply (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC) and complies with Green Premium guidelines (RoHS/REACh).
