The fiber optic Ethernet option module can further enhance the flexibility of our Advanced Meters by adding an additional communication port. It offers isolated data transmission over fiber optics up to a length of 2000 m. The module is powered directly by the base meter. This module enables data transmission over a fiber optic medium, providing reliable and isolated data transfer. It supports multimode 100BASE-FX technology and requires an SC duplex connector input. Only one fiber Ethernet module is supported per meter. The dimensions are 22 mm in width, 100.2 mm in height, 90.5 mm in depth, and the weight is 102.33 g. This module connects to the meter's option bus, which has a capacity for a maximum of one fiber Ethernet module and three additional options.
