The Modicon M171 PLC in optimized design is intended for simple and compact applications in the field of HVAC machinery and pump automation. Its small form factor allows for space-saving installation. With the integrated display and buttons, control parameters can be adjusted directly on the device. The controller features a total of 22 integrated I/O, including 6 digital and 5 configurable (U/I/T) analog inputs, as well as 6 digital and 5 configurable (U/I/PWM/PPM) analog outputs. It has an integrated Modbus SL interface that also allows for remote downloading. The power supply operates from 12 VAC to 24 VAC. The digital outputs are designed as relays (2A / 230VAC). One output is configured as an open collector, and two others as semiconductor relays (3A / 230VAC). Connections are made via removable screw terminal blocks (not included).
