The Modicon M171 PLC in optimized design is intended for simple and compact applications in the field of HVAC machinery and pump automation. Its small form factor allows for space-saving installation. With the integrated display and buttons, control parameters can be set directly on the device. The controller features a total of 22 integrated I/O, including 6 digital and 5 configurable (U/I/T) analog inputs, as well as 6 digital and 5 configurable (U/I/PWM/PPM) analog outputs. Power supply is provided via 24 VDC or 12 VAC to 24 VAC. The digital outputs are designed as relays (2A / 230VAC), with one output configured as an Open Collector. Connections are made via removable screw terminals (not included). It can be mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail. It is programmed with the free EcoStruxure Machine Expert - HVAC software.
