Modicon M340 CPU, Level 1. Standard and high-performance processors of the Modicon M340 automation platform manage a PLC station in a rack, where a maximum of 11 slots can be occupied as follows: discrete I/O modules, analog I/O modules, application-specific modules (counters, Ethernet TCP/IP communication). Each processor is equipped with a memory card used for application backup (program, symbols, and constants) and activation of a standard web server for the integrated Ethernet port according to Transparent Ready, Class B10 (depending on the model). Maximum 510 discrete I/Os, maximum 128 analog I/Os, 66 in a rack (4I/2Q x 11), 20 counter channels, total 2,048 kB internal RAM for the user (1,664 kB for program, constants, and symbols + 128 kB for data).
