Product details

Wiser is a smart home system that enhances comfort, security, and energy efficiency in a cost-effective and easy way. The Wiser smart home consists of various devices that can be controlled wirelessly in different ways. With the Wiser mobile app, convenient scenario controls, schedules, or automations based on weather conditions can be created. The devices also communicate with each other, allowing home functions to be automated without user intervention.

PowerTag Energy is a wirelessly communicating energy sensor designed for energy management in new constructions as well as renovation projects. Together with the Wiser central unit, PowerTag Energy monitors real-time energy consumption in the home up to 63 A. Installation of the device to the central unit can be completed in minutes.

When wirelessly connected to the Wiser system, PowerTag allows for additional functionalities such as monitoring spot market electricity and using automations (available Q3/2023).

PowerTag's measured data can also be used as automation conditions in the Wiser system, such as load status (on/off), instantaneous total power (W), daily consumption (over X kWh), and monthly consumption (over X kWh).

The full use of Schneider Electric's Wiser system requires a central unit, the Wiser by SE mobile application, a user account, and an internet connection. The system is free to use. The device is intended for indoor use.

It is recommended to install one PowerTag in the app, which will be displayed as "Electric Network" - a measure of the home's total consumption. Additional PowerTags can be added below to measure other groups.

Installation must be performed by a certified electrician.
