Product details

Circuit breaker size S2 for starter combinations with a rated current of 45 A and a tripping current of 650 A. The screw connection allows for increased switching capacity. The SIRIUS 3RV2 circuit breakers are designed for starter combinations to safely protect consumers in the event of a short circuit and to ensure a safe disconnection from the power supply.

The compact and climate-resistant circuit breakers are optimized for use in consumer branches due to their low heat dissipation and are suitable for IE3/IE4 motors as well as for switching direct current. Worldwide approvals, such as IEC and UL/CSA, as well as applications in explosive environments (ATEX or IEC Ex), are standard.

Device variants are available for motor protection (also with overload relay function), plant protection, short-circuit protection for starter combinations, transformer protection, as main and emergency stop switches, and for use in IT networks. They are available with screw or spring-loaded connections for a quick, maintenance-free, and vibration-resistant connection, optionally with an integrated auxiliary switch.

The comprehensive accessories, such as auxiliary switches, auxiliary relays, and signaling switches, are uniform across all sizes. The use of various energy supply options, such as the corresponding supply system SIRIUS 3RV29, significantly reduces the main circuit wiring.

The 3RV2 circuit breakers replace the proven series 3RV1. Simple, efficient, and always up to date - the SIRIUS system modular kit.
