The limit switch of series 3SE5 features a compact design and a metal housing, making it ideal for use in harsh environments or on devices with limited space. The switch complies with EU standards and has a 30 mm wide housing with mounting holes spaced 20 mm apart; another type meets the requirements of the US market and has a 40 mm wide housing with mounting holes spaced 25 mm apart. Both types of the limit switch have a depth of only 16 mm and a weight of 80 g (without cable). The metal housing and rotary actuator element have an IP67 protection rating, with 1 normally closed and 1 normally open snap contact (the normally open contact meets the requirements for forced opening according to IEC 60947-5-1). Suitable for use in safety circuits up to category 4 according to EN ISO 13849-1. Connection with molded cable of 2 m or 5 m or M12 socket. The actuating elements can be rotated in 90° increments. Time can be saved by mounting the fully pre-assembled unit. Resistant to electromagnetic interference.
