This wire bending element belt is used to protect free and cavity-nesting birds by preventing cats from climbing trees. The individual metal elements are interlocked, allowing the belt to be customized to the circumference of the tree trunk. If the trunk diameter is too small, two belts should be installed offset directly on top of each other to achieve increased protection.

Installation Note: It is important during installation that the longer wire pins point downwards and are angled (attach plastic protective caps). The shorter wire pins should extend horizontally or upwards.

When installed correctly (at least 2.5 meters high), there is no risk of injury to humans or animals. Cats also cannot get caught in the defense belt, for example, with their collar. Please regularly check that the belt hangs outside the movement area of people. Plastic protective caps are included.
