Whether as a main dish or a side for grilled meat: potatoes are versatile when cooking outdoors. With the cast iron potato roaster, potatoes and vegetables are cooked directly over the embers. With a total capacity of 1.8 liters, it can hold about three fist-sized potatoes inside.

The cast iron potato roaster completely encloses its contents. Thanks to its round shape and the excellent properties of cast iron, heat is evenly distributed around the contents. The specially designed tilting latch mechanism simplifies working over the fire: with a lid lifter hooked into the upper eyelet, the potato roaster can be easily placed or lifted out. The lower end of the tilting latch keeps the roaster halves securely together, ensuring that the contents do not fall out. When the lid lifter is applied to the lower eyelet of the tilting latch, the cast mold opens without risking burns to fingers or hands.

Thanks to the raised edge, embers and other items can be placed on the lid's surface, effectively utilizing the top heat. The rib running along the bottom of the roaster provides a flat and secure resting surface. This makes the cast iron special shape suitable for use on embers, grill grates, and in the home oven. The rib is extended at the back, ensuring a stable opening of the potato roaster.
