The SPF rafter tie anchors are used for the tension anchoring of intersecting timbers. They can also absorb horizontal forces.

Application:
Depending on the load, 2 or 4 tie anchors are used per connection. When using 2 tie anchors per connection, 2 left or 2 right connectors are required, as they should be arranged diagonally opposite each other to ensure a central load introduction. Transverse tensile stress on the timbers must be considered and, if necessary, demonstrated.
