Product details

CSA screws with diameters of 4.0 mm and 5.0 mm are specifically designed and approved for steel sheet-wood connections. The precise design of the shaft under the screw head ensures a force-locking load transfer to the hole edge of the connectors. The sharp cutting tip allows for accurate and immediate insertion of the screw into the wood.

The edge distances and spacing between screws follow the same specifications as for the CNA 4.0 x ℓ comb nails. The load capacity values are regulated in the ETA.

Processing: A screwdriver with torque adjustment is explicitly recommended for driving the CSA screws.

With European Technical Approval (ETA 04/0013).

CNA comb nails may be replaced by CSA screws according to the Simpson-StrongTie comparison without further evidence. In the reverse case, proof must be provided.
