SNL Pillow Block Housings, Series 5 and 6
The two-part SNL housings made of gray cast iron GG20 are designed based on a modular system. This allows for a flexible choice of bearing, seal, and lubrication method. By combining the housings with various standard seals, a wide range of housing variants can be created, covering the majority of requirements for pillow block housings for shafts with diameters from 20 to 160 mm. They come standard with two elongated foot screw holes, allowing for subsequent alignment of the housing.

SNL pillow block housings are intended for the installation of spherical roller bearings or spherical plain bearings, which can be mounted on smooth shafts using locking sleeves. Fixed bearings can be achieved by inserting two identical locking rings on either side of the bearing, ensuring a centered bearing seat for fixed bearings. Compatible seals from the TSN series, end covers, or locking rings must be ordered separately. Suitable for spherical roller bearings of series 12, 13, 22, 23, and spherical plain bearings of series 222 and 223. Main dimensions according to DIN 736:1984 / DIN 739:1984 / ISO 113:1999.
