The Flux 160 ST Digital steelworks welding machine has a synergic wire feed, operates at up to 160 A and is suitable for flux cored wire welding without shielding gas as well as for lift TIG and MMA/ARC applications. Designed for use in all weathers, the Flux cored wire welder achieves first-class welding results even in adverse weather conditions thanks to its powerful 160 amps. The welding parameters are easy to read on a clear digital display. The various modes can be set quickly using the intuitive menu. State-of-the-art IGBT technology of the latest generation ensures excellent welding properties at high welding speeds. In addition to smart cooling with integrated overheating protection, the welding machine has a synergic wire feed. The speed of the wire feed is automatically regulated by the set welding current. In combination with the optionally available Stahlwerk WP-17V welding torch, the versatile inverter welding machine can be converted into a TIG welding machine with lift TIG. Flux-cored wire welding is based on a similar process to MIG MAG welding, with the difference that no shielding gas needs to be supplied. Due to its compact dimensions, low weight and the absence of shielding gas, the welding machine is therefore particularly suitable for mobile use on construction sites, assembly or DIY.
