Advantages of the gas lens:

Less gas consumption.
Better welding result.
Vortex-free (laminar) exit of the shielding gas from the gas nozzle through a fine sieve. The welding zone and tungsten electrode are thus significantly better protected.
The laminar gas outlet allows the tungsten electrode to protrude further from the gas nozzle.
The ignition of the arc is noticeably improved.
The use of the gas lens enables brighter welding seams and ensures less distortion in the workpiece.
The gas lens increases the service life of the tungsten electrode.
