MMA electrode welding / ARC welding as a universal welding process. An arc melts the electrode, forming the weld seam. No shielding gas is required, making it flexible for use anywhere. The practical reference current function allows for the selection of a current recommendation (material thickness 1.0–10.0 mm and electrode diameter 1.6–5.0 mm). The device then automatically adjusts the appropriate welding current strength – this function is disabled during manual readjustment. The ARC 200 MD Digital features a lift-TIG mode (DC TIG) and can quickly be converted into a DC TIG welding machine with the optionally available WP-17V universal lift-TIG torch.
