Noise or already noise pollution? The sound level meter provides you with precise values. Designed within a measurement range of 30 to 130 dB, the sound level meter meets the requirements of the IEC 61672: Type 2 standard. It impresses with an accuracy of ± 1.4 dB, allowing for accurate classification of the recorded values. To ensure accuracy, three measurement ranges can be pre-selected: low (30 - 80 dB), medium (50 - 100 dB), and high (80 - 130 dB). If you're unsure which range is appropriate, the automatic range selection can also be used across the entire measurement range. The sound level meter effectively captures a frequency range from 31.5 Hz to 8 kHz, measuring frequencies that are not perceivable by the human ear. For optimal measurement results, a frequency weighting selection is available. Frequency weighting A is ideal for ambient noise, such as in an office, while the device captures sound sources from machines using frequency weighting C.
