The charge controllers FOX-260 and FOX-360 are designed for module currents of up to 20 A. The graphical, illuminated LCD display shows current information in very readable text: battery voltage [V], charging current [A], generated module current [A], power consumption [A], and battery state of charge as a bar graph. Various input masks are available for adjusting the basic settings, such as selecting the battery type. The optimized charging characteristic, combined with the hardware PWM control, achieves a significantly faster and gentler charging of the battery. Dangerous gassing or overcharging is safely prevented. The size of the heat sink is also designed for high ambient temperatures.
