Motion detector (PIR) for wall or ceiling mounting in outdoor areas. It features a circular detection area of 300°, with a diameter of 32 m at a mounting height of 2.5 m. The switching output is a 1-channel light relay at 230 V, providing automatic lighting control based on presence and brightness. This device is suitable for larger commercial properties in outdoor areas such as administration buildings, hotels, schools, underground car parks, and warehouses.

The sensor head of the outdoor detector can be rotated horizontally by ± 90° and can be tilted downwards by 45° and upwards by 90°. The brightness switching value and run-on time are adjustable, and sensitivity can be reduced to restrict the detection area. The outdoor motion detector includes a cover clip for area limitation and features mixed light measurement, making it suitable for controlling fluorescent, incandescent, halogen lamps, and LEDs.

Additional features include a teach-in function for the current brightness value, pulse function, and a test function for checking the detection area. It can be mounted on a flush-mounted box (60 mm) and allows for one-hand plug-in base mounting. Immediate commissioning is possible thanks to presetting, and the setting elements are protected. A dummy terminal for the protective conductor, spacer frame, and corner mounting bracket are included.
