CCA refers to bi-metallic single and multi-stranded wires and cables with a copper-clad aluminum core for high-frequency applications. The so-called skin effect, also known as current displacement, is a physical phenomenon caused by higher frequency alternating currents. The current density inside the conductor decreases compared to that at the outer surface as the frequency increases. Special feature: flexible, CCA conductors.
