The combination glazing consists of approximately 3 mm thick safety glass, crystal clear (ESG), on the sides, and about 6 mm thick hollow chamber panels (HKP) in the roof area. The hollow chamber panels protect the plants from excessive sunlight, ensure a balanced temperature, and are less susceptible to falling branches or similar hazards. The slightly sloped roof allows plenty of sunlight into the greenhouse. The gentle incline of the shed roof ensures a comfortable standing height throughout and provides ample space for tall-growing plants to thrive. The roof extends about 30 cm beyond the front. The standard equipment also includes a rain gutter and two downpipes, as well as a steel foundation frame. The frame is made of narrow aluminum strips. Since aluminum is an extremely stable and durable material, the fine strips are sufficient to ensure long-term stability.
