Modbus TCP Controller, 4th Generation, 2 x Ethernet. In conjunction with the WAGO I/O System, the Modbus TCP Controller can be used as a programmable controller in Ethernet networks. The controller recognizes the connected I/O modules and creates a local process image from them. This can involve a mixed arrangement of analog (word-wise data exchange) and digital (bit-wise data exchange) modules. The two Ethernet interfaces and the integrated switch enable the wiring of the fieldbus in a line topology, eliminating the need for additional infrastructure elements such as switches or hubs. Both interfaces support autonegotiation and Auto-MDI(X). The DIP switch allows for the configuration of the last byte of the IP address as well as the reference of the IP address. The controller is suitable for fieldbus communication in Modbus networks. Additionally, a variety of standardized Ethernet protocols are supported (HTTP(S), BootP, DHCP, DNS, SNTP, (S)FTP, SNMP). An integrated web server provides the user with configuration options and status information for the controller. The device is programmable according to IEC 61131-3, supports multitasking, and features a buffered real-time clock.
